Mrityuparant Shradh

Shraadh rites is an uninterrupted flow of life. The journey of the soul does not stop even after the end of the body. The subsequent sequence should also continue in the right direction, for this post-mortem rites are performed. Scientists are able to operate remote equipment by means of microscopic electric waves. Faith can send more powerful waves than that. Through him, direction and power can be provided to the soul-consciousness of loving relatives to ancestors. The process of giving salvation to the ancestors and getting their blessings is carried out by the use of this ability through the post-mortem.

Indian culture has declared the fact that life does not end with death, death is also a link in the chain of eternal life, so that state of the soul has also been tied in the sequence of samskaras. When he completes one birth and moves towards the next life, it is wished that the next life of the concerned soul should be more well-mannered than the previous one.
The post-mortem rites are performed on the thirteenth day after the funeral rites. The day on which the funeral (cremation) takes place is also counted. Somewhere there is a tradition of the twelfth day also. In many areas, Shuddhi Day is celebrated on the tenth day, on that day the close relatives of the deceased perform Kshaur Karma, complete the extensive cleaning of the house till the purification, where only the thirteenth is celebrated, there all these karmas are performed during the Shradh rites. are done before

Shad Pind Daan (Asthi sanchayan )

The duty of a son is considered meaningful only when he serves the parents during his lifetime and after their death, on their death anniversary (Barsi) and Mahalaya (Pitr Paksha) duly perform Shradh. The basic conception of Shradh is based on Karmaism and reincarnationism of Vedic philosophy. It has been said that the soul is immortal, which does not perish. The meaning of Shradh is to show reverence to one's deities, ancestors and descendants. It is believed that those who leave their body, be it in any world or in any form, come to earth in the fortnight of Shradh and are satisfied with Shradh and Tarpan.

Fifteen days of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month are known as Pitru Paksha. During these fifteen days people offer water to their ancestors. Parvana performs Shradh on his death anniversary. After the death of family human beings like father, mother etc., the rituals performed with reverence for their satisfaction is called Pitru Shradh. Here we are telling you about the importance of Pind Daan and its process.
We serve our ancestors during Pitru Paksha. From Ashwin Krishna Pratipada to Amavasya, the energy of the universe and with that energy Pitruprana pervades the earth. There is also a beautiful and scientific explanation of the state of the soul after death in religious texts. Pitru Tarpan is of great importance to save from the phantom vagina. It is believed that by offering to the ancestors, they get liberation and they are freed from the phantom vagina.

Dashgaatra (Dashva)

After death, after the cremation, the first Dashgatra Pinds are given to the deceased. There is a belief behind this that it is the subtle form of the body (Parimana thumb only) and the dead soul goes to the world. Those who do not perform Shradh, they wander in the atmosphere as ghosts and demons. Therefore, by providing the Soma part in the bodies of rice etc. through Dashagatra Shradh, the devotional part is nourished, from which the Soma part of the ancestors is completed and they are successful in reaching the moon.

Ascetics, ascetics etc. go by Devayana, they do not require the nourishment of the subtle body by Soma, that is why their Dashagatra Shradh is not performed. Growing up on the path to Pitruloka, the subtle body is nourished by performing Shradh and by giving something every day, the deficiency in it is filled, as it has been said. Acharyas have called Shradh as the best action. According to Brahmavaivarta Purana, Shraddha Karma is more important than Deva Karma, so we should consider it as the holiest period with reverence. Even on the occasion of auspicious functions in the household, the ritual of Shradh has been done, which is called Nandishradh. The person who performs Shradh with devotion, he himself worships Vishnu.

Ekadashaah - Gyaras ka Shradh

On the day of Ekadashi of Pitru Paksha, there is a law of offering tarpan by bathing in the river Falgu. It is considered most fruitful to do Pind Daan on the Munda Peja, Adi Gaya and Dhaut pad situated on the Karasilli hill in front of the Vishnupad temple present here. It is believed that on this day, if the performer fasts on Ekadashi and donates it to the ancestors by making a pinda of Khoya, then his ancestors get salvation. Along with this, the performer also gets unfailing merit. If you are not able to observe Ekadashi fast, then at least do charity after performing Shradh for ancestors.

On the day of Ekadashi, there is a law of Shradh for those deceased ancestors whose date is Ekadashi. Ekadashi Shradh is also known as Gyaras Shradh, irrespective of whether he died in Shukla Paksha or Krishna Paksha in any month. The Shradh of ancestors in Pitru Paksha is considered as a sacred Shradh and they should be performed only on Kutap or Rohin Muhurta, as this time does not end in the afternoon. Tarpan is always performed at the end of Shradh.
Shradh performed on Ekadashi Shradh removes the sins of ancestors and liberates them from the world of death or makes them attain the body. There is a law to perform Shradh for the dead on the same date every year. However, when Pitru Paksha Shradh is performed then only the date matters. The Shradh rituals performed during Pitru Paksha are highly beneficial and Pitru showers his blessings on his family.

Dwadashah Shraddha

Dwadashi Shraddha is done for those deceased family members who died on Dwadashi Tithi, including both Shukla and Krishna Paksha Dwadashi. Dwadashi Shraddha Tithi is also suitable to perform Shraddha for those who had taken renunciation (संन्यास) before death. Dwadashi Shraddha is also known as Baras Shraddha. Pitru Paksha Shraddhas are Parvan Shraddhas (पार्वण श्राद्ध) and auspicious time to perform them is either Kutup Muhurat and Rohina etc. M uhurat after that till Aparahna Kala gets over. Tarpan (तर्पण) is done at the end of the Shraddha.

The twelfth day of the Pitru Paksha is known as Dwadashi Shradh. During this period, people invoke their dead ancestors by performing the shradh and tarpan rituals. They also offer food and water mixed with black sesame seeds to calm the hungry and thirsty souls of those who are no longer alive. Dwadashi is the twelfth day in a lunar month both during the waxing phase and the waning phase. Dwadashi Shradha is meant for performing the shradh of the ancestors who died during Dwadashi tithi. On this day, shradh is also performed to people who died after taking sanyasa (renunciation). The other name of Dwadashi shradh is Baras shradh.

Shaiyya Daan Brahman Bhoj

In Pitru Paksha, ancestors come to earth and they wish their descendants to perform Shradh for themselves. Therefore, along with offering tarpan for the ancestors, food and charity must be done for them. It is believed that the gods receive 'Havya' and Pitras 'Kavya' through the mouths of Brahmins. If you wish, you can offer donations and food to Brahmins for the entire sixteen days of Pitru Paksha or perform Shradh rituals duly on the day your ancestors are on the date of Shradh.

Tell any Brahmin you are going to have the Shradh Bhoj in advance so that the Brahmin can do the evening.
The brahmins who perform the Shradh Bhoj should be srotriyas and they should regularly chant the Gayatri Mantra.
The brahmin who eats the shraadh and the one who feeds the banquet should eat in silence. If someone needs something, he can point it out. The food does not reach the ancestors through the Brahmin who eats while speaking. Therefore special attention should be given to this.
Shradh Bhoj should neither be praised nor evil. Food as it is prepared should be taken as Prasad. If there is a shortage of salt or sugar, then fulfill it by asking for a gesture, but do not tell the deficiency.

Narayan Bali / Tripindi Shraadh

Narayan Nagbali and Tripindi shradh rites are performed with the objective of providing momentum to the pitars (Ancestors). Scriptures say that one should spend 1/10th of the annual income for the purpose. However, it does not matter if one spends as per his capacity.

In the Indian Hindu tradition, three types of debts are recognised. These are Pitru runa (Predecessors' Debt), Rushi runa (Saints' Debt), and Paramatma runa runa (Debt of God). If a man performs pooja (worship) and fasting, etc as told by our dharma shastras, he gets Permatma Runa's relief. The man gets relief from Pitru Runa by doing shraddha, pitru pujan, etc. All kinds of Yadnya, Shraddha, Tarpan etc are expected to perform by Bramhins. Apart from memory day, it can be performed on a regular basis every day. Kamya Shraddha is also referred to as Tripindi Shraddha. The soul of the deceased person, whose Shraddha has not been consistently performed for a span of 3 years, becomes Pret (Just like a Ghost). Amavas is Pitaras' day. Shraddha ought to be done on this day.
In any part (Shukla or Krushna) of the month of Shravan, Kartik, Pousha, Magh, Phalgun, Vaishakh, Tripindi shraddha may be performed on any day of Panchami, Ashtami, Ekadashi, Trayodashi, Chaturdashi, or Amavasya.
